The Fairhaven Recreation Center had 100 registered hunters for its 24th annual Flashlight Egg Hunt. The weather just barely held out on Friday, 4/11/25, for the event to be outdoors.
Children under 5 got to hunt in the courtyard, while the big kids (6–11) got to hunt out in the big field behind the building. The rain started while the big kids were out there, but it did not stop them from finding their treasures.
Hunters received three numbers and had to find the corresponding eggs, then they turned them in for a special treat can you say Chocolate?). Children could also find bonus golden eggs that they got to keep as a special prize.
After the hunt, children could take pictures with the Easter Bunny or enjoy a fun Easter craft activity.
