Rochester Fire Department provided a 3,000 gallon tanker to assist with water supply because the area has no hydrants. Acushnet also has an 1800-gallon tanker truck and the three engines carry 1,000 gallons each. Two structures were destroyed, two were damaged. A pot-bellied pig died in the fire. There were no injuries to the property owners or public safety personnel.
