The Fairhaven Fire Department and the Millicent Library held their annual fire safety event on Friday, 7/26/19, when the department mixed up some fire safety information with some good old fashioned fire hose fun. The children learned all about what happens in a fire,, what to do, and how to react to the firefighters when they show up in all their scary-looking gear. Sparky the Fire Dog was also on hand, and children received free gifts, including plastic fire hats, and coloring books.
