Entrypoint will meet with town officials and residents to discuss the first steps in creating a municipal fiber network in Fairhaven. Discussion will include the reasons why the town should consider controlling broadband infrastructure, essentially making broadband a municipal utility. A town-controlled system should result in lower costs for residents. The public is encouraged to join in the conversation on Wed., 12/12, at Fairhaven Town Hall, 6:30 p.m.
