Come and meet the Fairhaven Village Militia at our meet and greet event on Sat., 3/23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Fairhaven EMA Building, 150 Sconticut Neck Road, Fairhaven.
A free indoor educational event outlining Fairhaven’s history during the Revolutionary War era. Meet our re-enactors, and see demonstrations of colonial life including midwifery, colonial clothing and sewing, tin smithing, and other period happenings. There will be a children’s area where kids can try out colonial toys and games that children enjoyed at that time. If the weather permits, we may have an outside encampment and drilling. This is a great event for the young and old alike. Come see this living history event.
