After a long two years without live theatre, the Fairhaven High School Theatre Company is thrilled to be welcoming audiences back for this year’s fall production: Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind by Greg Allen.
Known as the longest running show in Chicago to this day, YOU as the audience have the power. The numbers 1-30 are hung on a clothesline onstage, each one correlating to a different “play” or scene. The actors will ask the audience for a number, and whichever one they hear is the play that’s performed next. And it all has to be done within 60 minutes! Too Much Light… invites the audience to become a part of a hilarious, chaotic, and thought-provoking experience. With the performances being different each night, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind will be performed at Fairhaven High School on at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 17 & 18; and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 19. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and $8 for children under the age of 12 and can be purchased at https://gofan.co/app/school/MA22183 or in person before each performance.
