This year’s Fairhaven High School Advanced Placement Calculus and AP Statistics classes both set school records for the number of students taking the AP exams. Thirty Calculus students and 31 Statistics students sat for the exam and their teachers are also expecting the scores to be the highest in school history. The group is almost all seniors, with just one junior among them. “They are just a fantastic group of kids as not only are they very talented academically but they are also very kind people (see the smiles!),” wrote math teacher Phil Harding in an email.
