Unfortunately this year’s Fairhaven Homecoming Fair, as well as other related events scheduled for the last weekend of June 2020, has been canceled. The current COVID-19 health crisis has forced the Fairhaven Improvement Association, the Fairhaven High School Alumni Association and the Fairhaven High School Hall of Fame Committee to cancel all of the events that normally are held during Homecoming Weekend from June 26-28, 2020. The next FHS Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2021 at the Century House.
Class Reunion dinners for the Classes of 1955, 1960 and 1965 have been postponed until 2021 during the Homecoming Weekend from June 25-27, 2021. The Class of 1957 has postponed their gathering until either 2021 or 2022. The Class of 1970 has postponed their reunion dinner until Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Century House.
Further, all guided tours of Fairhaven High School have been canceled for Homecoming Weekend as well as all of July. Bob Foster ’66, President of the FHS Alumni, hopes to resume the building tours in the summer of 2021.
