The Fairhaven Call Firefighters Association gave the area around the “Welcome to Fairhaven” sign a “hair cut and some much needed trimming,” according to the Facebook page.
“We would like to thank Kenny’s Farm Stand and Florist for donating the flowers and mulch!” posted the FCFA on FB. “The sign is visible and much more Welcoming! A big THANK YOU to all who helped!”
The sign is located on the north side of Route 6 as vehicles travel east, entering Fairhaven from New Bedford.
