Fairhaven Rotary donates pens for voting day

October 7, 2020 by Staff Writer

The Fairhaven Rotary donated 1,000 pens to the Fairhaven Town Clerk for use on voting day. Due to COVID-19, polling places will include a number of protocols to keep everything sanitized and to minimize people touching the same untreated surfaces. This includes pens and pencils. Voters are encouraged to use their own pens. If they forget one, then one will be provided and voters are encouraged to take it with them.

Fairhaven Rotary president (LEFT) Pattie Pacella, rotary member Melissa Kucharski, and Fairhaven Plannig and Economic Development Director Paul Foley (RIGHT) pose with Fairhaven Town Clerk Carolyn Hurley, who is holding pens donated by the Rotoary for use on election day, when voters will be encouraged to take their pens with them due to COVID-19.
