The Fairhaven Police Department participated in the “Fill the Bus” event on Saturday, 12/10, at Walmart. with along with Tremblay’s Bus and Safe Zones. Police Departments around the country are collecting toys for needy children this holiday season (see page 8 for more opportunities to drop off toys).
“We at the Fairhaven Police Department would wholeheartedly like to thank everyone that helped with our annual Fill the Bus Holiday Event,” wrote the department on its Facebook page. “It is fantastic seeing how a community can come together to help make our local needy children’s holidays a much happier one!!!”
