At 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, 4/19/20, Fairhaven firefighters fought a four-acre brush fire in the area of the bike path at Egypt Lane.
Mutual aid from Mattapoisett was requested, as the fire was pushed rapidly east by the wind through marsh grass and woods.
The fire was contained in an hour and a half, requiring four pieces of fire apparatus and approximately 15 firefighters.
