Bob Kenworthy has a conversation with an Alden Court resident dressed in Portuguese festival attire during the Family Fun Day on September 16.
Chef Dana made cacoila, chicken Mozambique, rice, boiled potatoes, kale soup, malassadas, pops, sweet bread and, of course, pastiche de nada, those wonderful custard tarts!

The Rancho Folclorico dancers entertain.
Entertainment was by DJ Jordan Paiva playing oldies and Portuguese favorites. Rancho Folclorico from New Bedford provided some ethnic Portuguese dancing and singing.
It was truly a cultural experience and fun time enjoyed by all.
