Fairhaven Veterans Agent Mike Jenney and a group of volunteers fanned out across the cemeteries of Fairhaven to place wreaths from the Wreaths Across American program on graves of veterans and at the memorials on Saturday, 12/2/23.
Mr. Jenney told the group that they were a bit short on funds this year, so they did not get as many wreaths. They did catch up, though, he said, so next year they should be able to order more.
He thanked the donors, volunteers, and the town, including: Diane Edwards, Phyllis Pequita, Greg & Jane Bettencourt, Christopher and Jessica Fidalgo, North Fairhaven Improvement Association, Dennis Duval, Mike Lombardo, David Blanchard, Frank Fostin, Dick West, Daniel & Susan Morris, Rhet & Cynthia Denault, Fairhaven Improvement Association, Mary Olson, Terrence P. Meredith in memory of Linda Meredith, Alden Court.
