Four Fairhaven Firefighter/ Paramedics received the Medical Directors Service Award for their actions on a major motor vehicle accident which resulted in them saving both patients, according to post on the Fairhaven Firefighters Association Facebook page. Tim Desroches, Kevin Gonsalves, Scott Rittenhouse, and Maggie Rocha all received the award last week.
“These men and women performed courageously and compassionately on a major motor vehicle accident in town which resulted in them saving both of the patients involved. Great work by all!” the union posted.
