Two groups from Fairhaven showed their appreciation to the Fairhaven Fire Department on the same day last week. On Wednesday, 9/19, the department got a tray of goodies from a group of residents at Atria Fairhaven Assisted Living and another batch of cookies from Active Day.
“We are very humbled today and feel the love from our assisted living community,” wrote the department on its Facebook page. “We received a visit from staff and residents of The Atria today with a fantastic tray of goodies. All in our department thank you!” And, “Many thanks to Active Day of Fairhaven for the surprise visit and the cookies that they brought for the members of our department. It is very much appreciated!”
