Calling all Fairhaven artists, musicians, performers, educators, and creators! The Fairhaven Cultural Council is now accepting proposals for projects that enrich the cultural lives of Fairhaven residents. Successful applicants will receive grant funding to help realize their projects.
Applications are open from September 2 through October 16. They are online only and are accessible via the Mass Cultural Council’s website: https://massculturalcouncil.org/local-council/fairhaven/.
This page provides the guidelines and priorities the Fairhaven Cultural Council uses when reviewing grant applications. Last year’s grant awards are listed there, giving examples of winning proposals.
The Mass Cultural Council will host a webinar at 6 pm, September 9 to walk potential applicants through the grants process. This webinar is free and available to anyone. Register to receive access information here: https://massculturalcouncil.org/event/local-cultural-council-grants-info-session-2.
The council is also considering hosting an in-person information session about the grant application process. This would be an evening program, held locally. If you are interested in attending an info session, please email council chair Beth Ann Gallagher at: culturalcouncil@fairhaven-ma.gov.
