Fairhaven held a parade, classic car cruise, and ceremony, complete with cannon fire, to celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. The parade traveled from the center of town along Green Street to Fort Phoenix for the ceremony.
Activities included the reading of the Declaration of Independence and the fired the fort’s five large Civil War era cannons. (See letter on page 8 form the parade committee.)
