The (10-2) Fairhaven Blue Devils hosted the (4-8) Nauset Regional Warriors on 5/4/26 in a non-league match at the Joe Jason Senior Champions Field at Pope Park in Acushnet.
Fairhaven played its season opener on the road against the warriors, resulting in their first win of the season, 7-2.
Nauset Regional started the rematch ready to take a stab at it with three runs recorded in the top of the first inning. The Warriors, however, were held scoreless for the remainder of the game and the Blue Devils fired back quickly, taking the lead in the second inning and scoring six more to extend their lead in the third.
After shutting down the opposition again, the Blue Devils scored five more runs and held the Warriors scoreless to bring the four and a half innings of baseball to an end.
With the win in the books, the Blue Devils move to 11-2 on the season. Fairhaven has won nine-consecutive games. FHS Baseball closes out the season on the road against Apponequet Regional (5/8), Seekonk (5/13) and St. John Paul II (5/19).
