Fairhaven voters chose Joe Biden (D) over President Donald Trump (R) in the presidential election on Tuesday, 11/3/20. A total of 9510 voters cast ballots, with 5,028 choosing Biden and 4,229 choosing Trump. Fairhaven voters chose incumbent Sen. Edward Markey (D) over Kevin O’Connor (R) 5,142–4,037; and incumbent Rep. Bill Keating (D) over over Helen Brady (R) 5328–3462.
The clerk’s office did not provide turnout numbers by press time, but using the previous numbers as a guide, it appears that more than 80% of voters cast ballots.
Acushnet voters chose Trump over Biden, 3193–2550; O’Connor over Markey, 2875–2754; and Keating over Brady 2883–2533.
Acushnet has 7863 registered voters. Turnout was 75%.
All numbers are preliminary, and will be finalized in the next few days, then certified by the state.
