The Fairhaven Sustainability Committee invites all Southcoast residents to participate in the Earth Month EcoChallenge! Join Team SouthCoast and select from a list of measurable actions you will take during the month to reduce your environmental impact and educate yourself on a variety of topics.
There is a wide range of challenges including reducing plastic use, eating a vegetarian meal, spending time outdoors, planting a tree, watching educational videos, and more. You can choose as many or as few actions as you like, track your completed actions, earn points, and see the collective impact the team has as a whole. Hopefully some of the challenges will become habits to help us all towards creating a better, more sustainable world.
Hastings Middle School will be challenging their students on their own team this April and we look forward to seeing the positive impact our Fairhaven youth will have!
Registration runs until the end of March, with the challenge taking place from April 1-30. Follow http://bit.ly/EarthMonthEcoChallenge to join Team SouthCoast, or to learn more go to https://ecochallenge.org/ecochallenge-platform/how-it-works/
