Early voting ends this Saturday in Massachusetts for the state primary election on Tuesday, 9/1/26. Offices on the ballot include all statewide positions, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative and District Attorney.

Acushnet
Early voting in Acushnet can be done at the Parting Ways Building (Town Clerk’s Office), 130 Main St. on the following days/times:
• Thurs., Aug. 27, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Fri., 8/28, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
On election day, all precincts vote at Acushnet Elementary School, 800 Middle Road.

Fairhaven
Early voting in Fairhaven is at the Town Clerk’s Office in Town Hall, 40 Center St. on
• Thurs., 8/27, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Fri., 8/28, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
On election day, all precincts vote at the Fairhaven Recreation Center, 227 Huttleston Ave. (near Stop & Shop).

New Bedford
Early voting will take place daily to Friday, Aug. 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the third floor of the Main Public Library, 613 Pleasant St., located in Downtown New Bedford.
Any New Bedford resident who is uncertain about their voting status or designated polling location, has changed their address since the last election, or would like to request an absentee/mail-in ballot should contact the Board of Election Commissioners at 508-979-1420.
The Elections Office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mail-in/absentee ballots can be requested by:
• Responding to the postcards sent to registered voters from the Mass. Secretary of State’s Office.
• Visiting the Election Commission page on the City’s website, www.newbedford-ma.gov/election-commission.
• Visiting the Elections Office at City Hall (133 William St., Room 114).
• Calling the City’s Elections Office at 508-979-1420.
