The Ducks Are Back!
The annual Acushnet Lions Rubber Duck race is this weeken and we have 1000 ducks that need adopting, $10 each. All money goes to Acushnet Lions Club charities. The race will be held at the Sawmill, 32 Mill Rd., Acushnet, on Sun., 6/16, at NOON. Buy tickets from an Lions member or at River’s End Cafe, or call Duckmaster Glenn Costa, 508-971-1859. Lots of fun, lots of great places to watch the ducks float down the river from the Sawmill to the finish line at River View Park in Acushnet. 1st Prize, $1,000; 2nd Prize, $500; 3rd Prize, $250; Gift Certificates.
