Dorothy Cox’s Chocolates has new digs. The well-known Fairhaven business, which will celebrate its 91st year in 2019, has moved to 21 Berdon Way, in the Job Lot Plaza.
“It’s beautiful,” said patriarch Francis J. Cox at the official ribbon cutting on Saturday, 12/15/18. “My grandson Brian did a very good job in here.”
Dorothy Cox, namesake of the founder, her grandmother, agreed that the new space will work out well for the company.
“It’s very nice,” she said, noting that the store sells ice cream all year, carrying their own brand, made at their Wareham facility.
Matt Cox said they are hoping to add a few seats inside for eating ice cream all year round. They also hope to have some outside seating in the summer.
