The Donut Factory opened its second location at 7 Howland Road in Fairhaven on Sunday, 8/4, and offered a free glazed donut to the first 50 customers. Kyle Vicino of Marion was the first customer at 6:10 a.m. and got his free donut, along with a half-dozen to take out. “These are good donuts,” he said. Husband & wife team Stanley and Melody Webb opened their first Donut Factory in New Bedford about two years ago. Mr. Webb said he is “an idea guy,” always trying new things. So if you want to try some very different donuts, or some deep dish pizza, by the slice if you want, visit them at their new location. In addition to 300 types of donuts, the restaurant offers has more than 100 coffee flavors, breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit cups, hash browns, pastries, muffins, bagels, steam pockets, and subs and even Mac & Cheese for the kids. Visit them on the web at www.thedonutfactories.com and on facebook at www.facebook.com/therealdonutfactory
