Spending a little time writing letters to the Faihaven Neighborhood News has always been a pleasurable experience….a retirement activity.
Now I am currently locked into what might be called a “writer’s block,” trying to put into words describing the “Tornado of Shame”” Trump continues to demonstrate, both home and abroad.
It seems that every day or two, he is defending a radical action or proposal that is of fantasy nature….a dream that one hopes won’t come true .
Not one of his campaign promises has been fully implemented but he continues to have a strong support base. That is probally the most discouraging of all issues.
In a recent testimony before Congress, James Comey, the fired FBI director, called Trump a lia. This is an embarrassing term when it is targeted at the POTUS.
Trump retorted calling Comey a liar and agreed to testify under oath supporting his claim. The soap opera continues.
His support base says, give him time. Well, I am approaching the big 7-0. The Rolling Stones once sang “time is on my side.” In my case, time is not on my side.
His failures are real and well documented, but in his fantasy world he claims victory. This has happened with every one of his failed proposals.
Trump has refuted 99% of climate scientists’ conclusions that climate change is happening and going on right now. With this in mind, one might consider investing in raincoats because it’s going to rain, rain, rain.
