The Disabled American Veterans Dr. C.E. Burt, Chapter 7 held its annual swearing in ceremony on Saturday, 5/6, at its headquarters at 19 Willis Street, New Bedford.

Elected officers were Commander Rodney Hunt, Sr. Vice Commander James Gagon, Jr. Vice Commander Roland Boisvert, and Treasurer David Miska. Appointed officers: Adjutant, John E. Smilowitz; Chaplain, John Pires; Sgt.-At-Arms, Marc Kearley.
William Vicini Massachusetts DAV Commander, performed the ceremony.
The chapter helps veterans get the benefits their service has earned them. They meet the first Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m.
