Thanks to the Fairhaven Sustainability Committee we now have access to Curbside Composting.
Interested residents need to sign up at BlackEarthCompost.com. You must purchase a bin and compostable bags and there is a monthly fee. They pick up every other week. You can compost a much wider variety of foods and compostable materials.
We are so excited to have access to this service! To get this service to come to Fairhaven we had to get 65 interested households. Fee is $89.99 every six months, or $16.99/month. Get a 13-gallon starter kit for $39.50.
