The Fairhaven Community Preservation Committee is accepting applications for the FY24 funding round. The FY24 Community Preservation Submission Guidelines and Application Forms are available on the Town’s Community Preservation Committee Webpage: https://www.fairhaven-ma.gov/community-preservation-committee.
The public hearing for the FY24 Community Preservation Plan will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2022. Since 2006 the Fairhaven CPC has appropriated over $7,250,000 that have created 126 affordable housing units, supported another 362 affordable housing units, protected 510 acres, created and maintained several recreation facilities and restored 55 historic preservation projects.
Activities that can be funded are: Acquisition, creation and preservation of Open Space; Creation, preservation and support of Community Housing; Acquisition, creation and preservation of Historic Resources; Acquisition, creation and preservation of land for Recreational Use.
The Deadline for CPC applications is, Friday, September 30, 2022 by 12:00 PM.
