Everyone can preregister
All residents of Massachusetts can now sign up for a vaccine through the state’s website. As of this week, residents 60+ are eligible to sign up for vaccines. Those who are not yet eligible, however, are able to preregister to be contacted when their time comes.
To find out if you can get vaccinated now or to sign up for a shot, visit https://www.mass.gov/ covid-19-vaccine.
Schools in Mass. are also scheduled to go back to in person learning in phases, with everyone being back to mostly in person learning by mid April.
Mass. Governor Charlie Baker has also lifted the travel restrictions, making them “ advisories,” such as quarantining if you have traveled out of state.
Governor Baker and public health officials on the state and national level caution residents that the threat of COVID-19 has not passed. They urge people to continue wearing masks, wash hands frequently, and use hand sanitizer.
