Massachusetts is now allowing walk-ins at all seven mass vaccination sites in the state, including the former Circuit City site on Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth. People are still able to make an appointment online, but it is no longer necessary.
For the first time in more than 300 days, Massachusetts recorded no COVID-19 deaths in the state.
The mass vaccination sites are: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, 888-623-3830; Natick Mall, Natick, 888-990-6066; Hynes Convention Center, Boston, 888-623-3830; Reggie Lewis Center, Roxbury, 888-623-3830; Eastfield Mall, Springfield, 888-702-9042; Doubletree Hotel, Danvers, 888-702-9042; Former Circuity City, Dartmouth, 888-702-9042.

Walk-in Vax in Fairhaven
The Fairhaven Board of Health and Fairhaven Fire Department are partnering with Walmart to offer Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations to Fairhaven residents, 16+ on Saturday, May 15 from 10AM – 2PM at the Fairhaven Recreation Center (227 Huttleston Avenue).
Interested residents are encouraged to call the Fairhaven Health Department at 508-979-4023 ext. 125 if they intend to get a vaccine on Saturday. Walk-in appointments are also welcome. Individuals will need to bring their ID and insurance card (if applicable). Minors must be accompanied by a consenting adult.
The follow-up date for the second Pfizer vaccine shot will be June 5, 2021 from 10AM–2PM at the Fairhaven Recreation Center.

12+ can get vaccinated
The Food and Drug Administration approved the Pfizer vaccine for ages 12–15 on Monday. Ages 16+ are already eligible to receive the vaccine.
More places to get vaccine
The vaccine is also available in more places, with many pharmacies becoming walk-in sites.
The numbers
Massachusetts had 472 confirmed cases on 5/10, bringing the total to 654,108. The state reported 17,519 active cases; 441 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19; 117 patient were in intensive care units, and 76 were intubated.
There were no new deaths reported on 5/10, the first time in 315 days. There have been 17,344 confirmed deaths in total in Mass.
The Fairhaven Health Department has started posting weekly reports on Facebook in addition to the town’s website. Information is from the state’s website, which is updated on Thursdays at 5 p.m., so information will be posted on Fridays.
As of 5/7/21, Fairhaven had 1,993 total cases; 1,410 tests in the previous two weeks; 42 total cases in the previous 2 weeks (active cases); and a 4.11% positivity rate. The town’s color status is yellow.
In total, 16,474 Fairhaven residents had been vaccinated as of 5/7; 59% of females and 41% of males in Fairhaven have been vaccinated.
