Testing
Project Beacon’s appointment-based COVID-19 testing, part of the state’s Stop the Spread, has relocated to the New Bedford Regional Airport, 1569 Airport Road. The relocated from the Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot.
Anyone interested in using the new site should schedule an appointment, beginning May 1, and use the Downey Street side entrance to the New Bedford Regional Airport. To schedule a test with Project Beacon visit app.beacontesting.com.

Walk-In Vaccinations
The New Bedford Vaccine Clinic operated by FEMA, 40 Tichon Ave., New Bedford (south end waterfront area), offers walk-in vaccines, Sat.–Tues., 9 a.m.–4 p.m. They may be available for additional hours. Call 508-984-2661 for hours. No appointment necessary.
Vax One & Done
COVID-19 One-n-Done Vaccinations for All in New Bedford. The J&J single shot COVID-19 vaccination for everyone is available on Wednesdays in May on Pier 3. Dates are May 12, May 19, and May 26, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
NO APPOINTMENT! COVID-19 VACCINATIONS at the Port of New Bedford, Parking lot at Pier 3, 52 Fishermen’s Wharf, New Bedford. Just walk up and ask for a COVID-19 shot.
