We are very pleased to announce a regular schedule of Covid testing beginning this week:
• Fridays (beginning 1/29) from 10 a.m.–noon in the parking lot behind the Council on Aging (59 South Main Street) using our trailer (see page 12)
• Saturdays (beginning 1/30) from 9 a.m.–noon at the elementary school gym
This schedule will be used through the end of February and may be delayed or cancelled due to possible snow/weather conditions. We will post updates during the week on our Facebook page/Acushnet Fire & EMS.
“It is our hope that a regular schedule of testing will accommodate the needs of the community. We are committed to testing anyone and everyone in Acushnet so we can get ahead of this virus,” said Fire Chief Kevin Gallagher
Fairhaven
The Fairhaven Fire/EMS department, in cooperation with the Fairhaven Board of Health, will be offering a FREE Covid Test Clinic EVERY SATURDAY for Fairhaven residents and town employees until further notice. Next Date: Sat., 1/30, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Fairhaven Recreation Center, 227 Huttleston Ave. WALK-IN ONLY, NO appointments.
