Cooke Park is site of Serve-A-Thon work, Pilgrim ride

September 22, 2016 by Fairhave Neighborhood News

As part of the Salvation Army’s Serve-A-Thon, 11 cyclers traveled and finished a round trip ride from Cooke Park in Fairhaven to the Mayflower Pier in Plymouth on Sat. Sept 10. Among the riders were Selectboard member Bob Espindola and his wife Ann, Town Counsel, Tom Crotty, DPW Director John Charbonneau and Town Planner Bill Roth. Cooke Park was also the site for a beautification project, spearheaded by town residents Gary Lavalette and Paula Silva, and assisted by Serve-A-Thon volunteers.

Remulching also took place at the Veteran’s Park. Both places really look awesome! The group of 11 cyclers at Mayflower pier in Plymouth.
