The Thursday evening concerts, billed as “Concerts Under the Stars,” do not, actually, have to be held under the stars. When it rains, the concert will simply move inside.
That’s what happened last Thursday, 7/13, when the Jillian Jensen Trio was slated to play, along with a big dose or rain.
The trio ended up being a duo, and the concert was moved to the upstairs auditorium at town hall, instead of on the steps. But the music happened, the public showed up, and the night was a success.
Four more concerts are slated for this summer, on Thursdays, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Fairhaven Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven.
The remaining concerts are: 7/20, Blues Train; 7/27, October Road; 8/3, Infractions; 8/10, The Buzzards Blue Band. Sponsored by the Fairhaven Improvement Association, the concerts are free to the public.
