Local climate activist Laura Gardner will present “The Climate Crisis and its Solutions” on Wed., 11/20, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Unitarian Memorial Church, 102 Green St., Fairhaven.
Ms. Gardner’s presentation is part of The Climate Reality Project’s “24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action,” (https://www.climaterealityproject.org/blog/24-hours-reality-truth-action) a global conversation on the truth of the climate crisis and efforts to address it. The Climate Reality Project was founded in 2011 by former Vice-President Al Gore.
Over the course of 24 hours, Gore will be joined by Ms. Gardner and other members of Climate Reality’s global network of more than 20,000 Climate Reality Leaders to give updated versions of the slideshow made famous by “An Inconvenient Truth” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Inconvenient_Truth).
