Operation Clean Sweep & New Bedford Science Café are teaming up for a major clean-up, at low tide of the channel between Harborwalk and East Rodney French Blvd. We need an army of volunteers, as many as possible. This clean-up will go a long way toward beautifying the view from the Haborwalk.
Join us on Sat., 3/29, from 1–4 p.m. during low tide. Park in parking lot at end of Gifford St. Sign in & receive a bag.
Bring: Boots or sturdy sneakers. Also gloves & pickers if you have them. We also will provide gloves, pickers, bags, & rakes.
Bags and other debris will be placed along the path next to the in-flow channel and removed by a city truck at the end of the day.
