The Civil War in 3D, Sat., 1/13, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Westport Free Public Library, 408 Old County Road, Westport MA
The Civil War remains very much in the American consciousness, not least because it was extensively photographed. While most people have seen the famous images, few know that they were shot with stereo cameras. Come see the images as they were meant to be seen.
John Wojtowicz is a Past President of the Photographic Historical Society of New England and an Adjunct Professor in History at Massasoit Community College.
3D glasses will be provided. Two sessions are offered: 10 AM – 11AM and 2 PM – 3 PM. Seating is limited. Suggested donation: $5 (bring on day of event).
