The Saint Rose of Lima Church in Rochester will hold their 55th Chicken Barbecue on Sun., 6/24, from noon to 3 p.m. The menu includes half a chicken with cranberry sauce, corn, potato, roll, watermelon and a beverage. Tickets may be purchased after week-end masses on the day of the event: $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 years and under. Concession stands and bakery tables will be stocked with a variety of other foods to tempt everyone’s palate. At St. Rose of Lima, just off Rt. 105 in Rochester at 282 Vaughan Hill Road.
