Atria of Fairhaven challenged their three chefs to Chef Showdown competition to separate the mild from the en fuego in a test of culinary Chops last Thursday, 7/18.

Thomas Dugan, Christina Lindh and Lauren Ducharme went head-to-head in a cooking face off with only one rule. All recipes had to include an ingredient savored with both the sweet and spicy: the pepper. The competition was judged by a panel of Atria residents and guests from the Town of Fairhaven, including Fire Chief Timothy Francis, Police Chief Michael Myers and officer James Bettencourt.
This year’s winner was Chef Tom with his Stuffed Peppers Italiano.
The fifth annual Chef Showdown took place at more than 225 Atria communities across the U.S. and Canada.
