Tne SouthCoast Chamber is pleased to announce that restaurant registration is now open for the 2025 Blount Fine Foods New Bedford Seaport Chowder Festival, commonly known as Chowderfest. Scheduled for Saturday, October 11, at City Pier 3 on the New Bedford waterfront, this premier culinary event invites restaurants, caterers, and certified kitchens from across the region to showcase their signature flavors to a diverse and enthusiastic crowd.
Chowderfest offers a unique opportunity for culinary professionals to gain visibility, connect with new audiences, and compete for top honors in three distinct categories: Clam/Seafood, Portuguese Specialty, and/or Signature Soup. Participation is free, and the event is open to any licensed food establishment or certified kitchen. With thousands of attendees expected, this is a valuable platform to elevate your brand and demonstrate your culinary expertise to locals and visitors alike.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with eventgoers, who will vote for their favorite offerings in each category.
