The flowers blooming in the Allens Pond fields including the bright yellow goldenrod on Beach Loop trail are a magnet for migrating Monarchs in late-summer. Timed for peak weekends for monarch migration, join us at the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary Field Station at 1280 Horseneck Rd., Westport, MA from 12 noon until 3 p.m. to learn more about the amazing monarch butterfly, how to properly handle and tag them and perform additional scientific investigations aimed at understanding their migration.
