On June 17, 1775, the British landed troops on Bunker Hill. And so began the pivotal battle early in the Revolutionary War.
Rev 250 historian Jonathan Lane will talk about this clash of arms between the Minutemen of Massachusetts and the British troops at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 at the Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum and Veterans Memorial, 1000 South Rodney French Blvd., New Bedford.
The talk, part of the fall 2025 historical lecture series, is free to the public. Ample parking is available. Visitors are encouraged to tour the museum after the talk.
