The Fairhaven High School Blue Devil coaches, with a little help from their friends, are getting the next generation of football champions ready for prime time.
Head Coach, Derek Almeida coaches Dana Almeida, Brett Denning, Scott Francis, Dave Donnelly and Mike Ponte from Carver High School, along with numerous Fairhaven State Champion football players helped out at the day camp held this month on the FHS football field, from 8:30–11 a.m., for kids in grades K-9, with 80 participants.

The players were separated by grade to learn the basics of the game and hone their skills.

Players can participate in the Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Athletics (FAYA) football and cheerleading programs by registering on the website: https://www.fayabluedevils. org, or find them on Facebook. Register soon. Season opens August 1.
