Discover Fairhaven and the Livable Streets Committee is delighted to invite you to Scoops on the Street: A Ferry Street Block Party for the community on Friday, May 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Ferry Street and Main Street. We’re planning on doing a ribbon-cutting of sorts, with remarks around 5:45 PM. Date was changed due to weather.
The event celebrates the updated sidewalk and the seasonal reopening of the Ice Cream Cottage, but more broadly, it’s about showing what’s possible when we invest in walkable, welcoming public spaces. We expect a handful of businesses local to the Ferry Street area to be present, showcasing their offerings and contributing to the lively atmosphere.
