The annual Blessing of the Bikes by St. Joseph Church in Fairhaven drew 203 riders on Sunday, 5/19/24. Riders gathered at Fort Phoenix, then rode to St. Joseph Church on Spring Street where Fr. Rick LaBrecque of St. Joseph, and Fr. Michael Kumar of St. Mary’s blessed each rider as they passed by. The bikes then toured the back roads for a couple of hours and ended up at Knuckleheads in New Bedford for food and entertainment. Proceeds from the ride benefit St. Joseph.
