Not only do we have the coronavirus to deal with, but the weather has not been the best this past month or so. That is why, when the sun decided to shine for two straight days this weekend, everyone was out. I think it’s great that folks are out there biking, walking, or doing whatever they do. And because of this, the Phoenix Bike Trail has become increasingly more crowded. It is important for everyone to use some common sense and remember some basic rules of being on a bike and/or multi-use trail:
• Always keep to the right, except when passing.
• Pass only on the left. Before passing call out a warning signal.
• When stopped, move off to the side of the path; do not block the path for others.
• Do not litter.
The Phoenix Bike Trail is relatively narrow so it is difficult to maintain social distancing. PLEASE WEAR A MASK for your own protection as well as others’. We are all out there trying to enjoy the day and get some exercise. Stay safe.
