Acushnet Fairhaven Basketball, which plays in the Metrowest Basketball Association, is made up of kids from the elementary and middle school. This year’s fourth-graders are winning big, hitting a 5-0 record after their 48-10 win on Saturday, 1/11/25, against Dighton-Rehobeth at Hastings Middle School in Fairhaven.
Jameson Silva led his team in scoring with 16* points.
“They are an absolute machine today,” said one observer.
The team, coached by Scott Tavares and Nate Silva, has won by an average of 30 to 40 points this season.
Their next game is on Saturday, 1/18, against Westport at Hastings Middle School, at 3:10 p.m.
