Julie Hatch is a retired pediatric nurse practitioner who spent 30 years working in pediatric and neonatal intensive care in Providence, RI.
She currently lives in Fairhaven, MA and has written her first book, a new medical thriller, The Very Best of Care. (SparkPress, June 3, 2025, distributed by Simon & Schuster) The book is based on her experiences.
When a young mother is forced to deliver her baby three and a half months early, she’s not just fighting for her son’s survival. She uncovers a shocking conspiracy within the hospital.
