Come to the Mattapoisett Free Public Library, 7 Barstow St., on Sun., 9/8, from 2–3 p.m. and hear former Mattapoisett resident Jack Matthews talk about his mystery thriller Arte Perdida. In the novel, Manny Pereira, a decorated and disabled Vietnam war veteran races to find a killer in an investigation that spans Nazi Germany, the Azores, Newfoundland, and the neighborhoods of Mattapoisett! Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
